Eligibility for Access to Social Housing

With changes following Brexit introducing Settled and Pre-Settled Status, not to mention the situation involving Afghanistan, this course takes Officers through who is eligible to access social housing as well as what documents are necessary to prove this.

It also covers those already in tenancies, who has a right of occupation and where they do become ineligible what action should be taken by landlords.

Eligibility is very 'fluid' and needs to be checked regularly as you'll see if you attend this course.

It isn't only for those that manage access to social housing ie, homelessness, housing options and allocations staff, but also for those managing temporary accommodation and general needs stock.

This 1 day, if face to face, or half day, if virtual, course is currently only available in a live format, whether virtually or face to face.  A digital form of this course is currently being developed.
